Was there for a photo shot for our granddaughter and friends before prom! Beautiful flowing plants. Beautiful park in general. Nice walking trails and benches everywhere to just sit and enjoy mother nature! The park is on the Vermilion River with observation decks. This would be a great wheelchair friendly park. Some picnic tables also wheelchair friendly!

A nice place with picnic tables and benches. I went early in the year so a lot of the flowers hadn't grown in yet. I'm sure it's even prettier once they do. I was surprised that several parts of the walking trail were very steep uphill. And some of the trail is rocky/scree-like. Trail runners or hiking shoes wouldn't be a bad idea if you're planning to walk the entire trail.

UPDATE: We went back and I brought my son & his friend. We live 20 minutes from here and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait for the kids to be able to ride the carrousel. Gorgeous place, can’t wait to go back & walk the trails. My daughter wanted to take her homecoming pictures here. I am unfamiliar with this area but so glad she found it. This place is totally worth visiting!!

Very beautiful park that is meticulously maintained. Several grass trails for hiking down by the Vermilion River and into the woods. The gardens are gorgeous and have a massive variety of flowers and trees. Great for walks or just escaping from the daily slog for a little bit.

Wonderful spot to be in nature, walk through the beautiful grounds, and admire the gardens. Gardens feature enjoyment for all ages. Great for for walking alone, with friends or for entire family (asphalt paths are all wheelchair accessible). The Children’s Garden has wonderful options for small children with discovery and exploration areas including a small playground for very young children, maze, and a carousel (check hours of operation for carousel). I walked the 1/2 mile Garden Path which was lovely - it is an asphalt path meandering through the grounds. It took me by wooded areas, wonderful gardens, a pond, and the Children’s Garden. There are many benches along the way to sit, enjoy nature or a picnic lunch. This would be a grand spot to enjoy a walk and bit of wonder; there are picnic tables in Children’s Garden area.
